According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, the French organization Galions is expected to make its first change ahead of Stage 2 of
VALORANT Challengers League France, with
Kamil "baddyG" Graniczka being benched and Nazar "
troizyyy" Iliashenko joining as his replacement. Following a Stage 1 that ended with a mid-table finish, the club has chosen to bring in a young Ukrainian player, far less experienced than the Polish player, in what is a role-for-role change, with one Controller replacing another.
Having previously played in VCT EMEA with KOI in 2025, baddyG joined the French league when the
Galions project launched last January. Having already worked with the organization in 2022 with Team Vitality, he was unable to bring the expected experience and failed to lead his new team toward Challengers EMEA during this Split 1. After finishing third in the group stage with five wins and two losses, just behind the league’s two favored projects, Joblife and Mandatory, Galions faced the latter at the start of the playoffs. Against MDR, GL could not keep up, losing heavily 13-6 and 13-4 and logically dropping to the lower bracket. Facing WIP Esports and Joona “H1ber” Parviainen, with whom he had played at Vitality in 2022, baddyG and his teammates collapsed 13-3 and 13-7, ultimately being eliminated from this first competitive segment of the 2026 season.
This therefore marks a role-for-role change, with the signing of troizyyy, who played the same Controller role, mainly on Omen, with BOARS in Challengers North East, where he competed at the start of the 2026 season. After joining the Ukrainian club ahead of Stage 3 in 2025, he immediately secured a fourth-place finish and a spot at Challengers EMEA after qualifying through the East qualifier, making it through the Swiss Stage, and nearly reaching the end of the playoffs. BOARS was then unable to advance past the group stage of Challengers but still closed the year with a notable result for the club. At the start of 2026, troizyyy’s results were slightly more difficult, with a missed playoffs qualification and a fifth-place finish in the group stage with three wins and four losses.
