Pablo "Gaax" Vegas Pérez has re-signed to Fnatic as Assistant Coach, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. Promoted to the LEC team's coaching staff two years ago, Gaax extends his journey with the Black and Orange for another year. Gaax will continue to work alongside Fabian "GrabbZ" Lohmann within the coaching staff.
Fnatic spoke with other assistant coaches — including Andrei "Odoamne" Pascu — and Gaax himself held talks with other teams such as Movistar KOI. However, the Spanish coach and the British organization reached an agreement that will see Gaax return for his fourth year with the team: two years on the main team and one year with Fnatic TQ.
New blood at Fnatic
Now that Fabian “GrabbZ” Lohmannhas been confirmed as the new Head Coach, it was only a matter of time before the decision was made regarding who will join his coaching staff. Despite another year where the British team couldn't break their LEC title drought and their roster taking a completely new direction, Fnatic maintains confidence in its current coaching staff to lead the next project.
From day one of the offseason, Grabbz was Fnatic's first choice to be the team's Head Coach, and both he and Gaax have been working closely together on building the roster and shaping the 2026 project.
