The Group Stage of the
EMEA Masters has concluded on March 15, and following an exciting first phase, the playoff bracket has now been drawn. After a week-long break—allowing teams to prepare and viewers to follow the
First Stand beginning this Monday—the final phase of the competition will start on March 23.
At the end of the opening stage, where expectations were largely met across most groups—with favorites such as
,
, and
successfully advancing—one notable absence remains in the next round
following Witchcraft’s elimination by G2 Nord in the group final.
In the next stage, the eight teams that advanced from the group phase will first face one another before meeting the four teams that secured victories in the Champions Round. The final phase of the tournament will be played in a double-elimination bracket, with the opening matchups determined this Sunday.
Among the first-round clashes, the slayers of Witchcraft, G2 Nord, will face another formidable opponent in French Flair, who—led by their midlaner
—dominated their group without conceding a single map. The winner of this series will go on to face one of the tournament’s major favorites,
. Meanwhile, reigning champions Karmine Corp Blue, returning from the
LEC and also victorious in their group, will take on
Prime League’s first seed,
, with the possibility of later meeting
LFL rivals
for the first time in EMEA Masters history.
The final representative of the French league,
, will face another Prime League squad,
, for the opportunity to meet
in the following round. Lastly, last year’s finalist Team Heretics Academy will face
in a rematch of the previous semifinal, with
awaiting the winner in the next stage. The tournament’s grand final is scheduled for April 21, and the two highest-placed non-academy teams will secure qualification for the
EWC EMEA Qualifier.
