According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Gonzalo "Romanilly" Manzano is set to take on the Head Coach role for Argentina’s VALORANT national team, while Iván "Inthra" Argüello is, as reported first by @RocketBullets on X, expected to hold the same position for Paraguay.
La Albiceleste
Currently head coach for LOUD in VCT Americas, Romanilly discovered top-level competition this year after several years in Latin America. Following his first two years of experience, the Argentine coach joined 9z Esports, with whom he won almost everything in 2023 and 2024, including nearly three Challengers LAS splits and even a first-place finish in Challengers Latin America. At the end of 2024, he then joined Mexican organization LAZER for LAN competition, where he picked up three more split titles.
In addition to its very active local scene, Argentina also features several VCT-level players, such as Matias "
Saadhak" Delipetro and Jesús "
Dantedeu5" Larrosa at KRÜ Esports, as well as Bruno "
Neon" Rodríguez at Leviatán. While the latter two are young prospects aged 18, Saadhak is one of the most experienced players in the
VALORANT competitive circuit, having won the world championship in 2022 and, above all, serving as an in-game leader.
La Albirroja
For Paraguay, the number of players competing at the highest level is significantly lower, but the landlocked country bordered by Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, and Uruguay can rely on an active coach. With a career that began in Turkey with FUT Esports, where he first worked as an analyst and then as an assistant coach,
Inthra gained experience at the highest level of
VALORANT before going through multiple stints in the MENA region.
He notably worked as a coach in Game Changers with The Ultimates, attempted to qualify for VCT Ascension China 2024 with KeepBest Gaming, competed in VCL North East with ESC Gaming, and also took part in Challengers South Asia with Reckoning Esports. He eventually closed out 2025 with a podium finish in VCL MENA Resilience alongside Gamax Esports, without securing a title.
All information about the ENC 2026
Scheduled from November 2 to 29 for its inaugural edition in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, the nation-based competition, set to be the largest in esports history, is expected to bring together thousands of players from around a hundred countries, competing across nearly 16 titles. Alongside the VALORANT tournament, which will take place from November 8 to 15, national team competitions will also be held in Counter-Strike, Rocket League, and Rainbow Six Siege. For Riot Games’ FPS, around 32 teams, each representing a nation, will compete on site.
Before that, participants must first be determined. The Esports Foundation, which oversees both the ENC and the Esports World Cup, has decided that 16 of the 32 teams will qualify directly for the main event based on their representatives’ results within Riot Games’ official circuits. The remaining teams will have to go through one of seven regional qualifiers, each granting two spots. The final two slots are expected to be distributed as wildcards by the ENC, likely at the discretion of the event organizer.
