Through his official X account, Marcin “
Nulu” Wolski announced he rejoined
as a midlane positional coach. This is his second stint as a positional coach for Shopify Rebellion. Nulu, formerly known as
Selfie, coached for SR back in 2024 in the
League of Legends Championship Series (
LCS).
The Polish coach announced his departure from North America to return to competitive play after his first stint with SR. He then joined
Nativz in the Northern
League of Legends Championship (
NLC) in Spring 2024 and competed as a player.
After the conclusion of the 2026 Spring Split, Shopify Rebellion's season had been lackluster, especially given the expectations surrounding Yoo “
” Baek-jin's arrival. The Korean finished the previous split sixth in KDA, DPM, and DMG%, and seventh in KS%. However, his team wasn't allocating many draft resources to him, as he also sat sixth in counter-pick Rate.
An immediate change was required if the Rebels hoped to qualify for the 2026 World Championship. Management rolled up their sleeves and announced the arrival of David Han and the return of support Tristan “
” Stidam. The Summer Split has been night and day for the Rebels, and Zinie has shown flashes of brilliance resembling his dominant time at
KT Challengers.
The Rebels head into a bye week
in a three-way tie for second place. They'll have a chance to challenge for the top spot in the table when they participate in the
LCS Homegrounds: Mexico City on August 29-30, 2026.
