In the last week featuring seven BO3s of the
League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) Spring Split, played from Saturday, April 11 to Monday, April 13, teams faced off with a few notable surprises along the way.

At the conclusion of the weekend’s matches,
Sheep Esports’ Team of the Week, limited to a maximum of two players per team, features toplaner

, and support
. In recognition of two high-level performances throughout the week, Lyncas
has been named our Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the week.
Toplaner: Naak Nako
A second straight appearance in our Team of the Week for the Turkish toplaner, who continues to look imperial in this LEC. The biggest test was expected to come against G2, where he faced Sergen "
" Çelik, and he fully delivered, finishing as the MVP of the series. He also put in a strong performance against Shifters, especially in Game 3, where he pulled out Camille to great effect.
Jungle: Lyncas
Vitality’s topside had a thunderous impact across both series, and Lyncas completely shut down Rudy "
" Semaan in their matchup. In Game 1, his Jarvan IV was involved in 17 of Vitality’s 19 kills, while in Game 3 he gave him a taste of his own medicine with a Dr. Mundo performance. Against Shifters, he was named MVP of the series after an impressive Aatrox showing that secured first place in the standings for the Bees.
Midlane: kyeahoo
It had been a while since Karmine Corp were last seen on Summoner’s Rift, but it changed absolutely nothing about their level. Their victory over Team Heretics made the Spaniards’ playoff qualification nearly impossible, as they had no answer to the Blue Wall, especially thanks to the Korean midlaner.
First came a huge Ahri performance, where he showed just how comfortable he is on the champion with an exceptional flash prediction. In Game 2, he delivered a clean Annie game, helping
remain undefeated at 2-0 in this Spring Split. kyeahoo also finished as MVP of the series.
AD Carry: Jopa
SK Gaming secured their second win of the season, and it was largely thanks to a standout performance from Jopa. He and the team completely outclassed a lifeless
side. Game 1 was incredibly close, with FNC throwing away a lead of more than 4K gold, before a pentakill on Ezreal from Jopa turned the game around.
In Game 2, SK did things the SK way: a midlane Zed in the hands of Adam "
" Ilyasov. Once again, Fnatic controlled most of the game, but SK pulled off an impressive comeback during a dragon fight, where Jopa picked up a quadrakill on Jhin.
Support: Busio
The second KC player in this Team of the Week is American-Polish support Busio. He simply did not die throughout the series, first delivering a clean performance in Game 1 on Seraphine alongside Ashe, as KC unsurprisingly dominated the laning phase before rolling through the mid-game. In the second game, he shone on Nami. KC buried Heretics, and Caliste "
" Henry-Hennebert / Busio continue to prove that they are one of the best botlanes in the LEC.
