For this first
ZOWIE Day in France, the brand brought together players, fans, and members of the French esports community to experience what’s normally reserved for pros. Held in Paris, the event marked a real milestone in ZOWIE’s local approach, as the team continues to embed itself in the French
VALORANT scene.
ZOWIE has been a staple in
Counter-Strike for over a decade, and it’s now steadily growing in
VALORANT as well. What stood out was the friendly vibe; everyone could chat openly with the staff and other fans.
Through its partnership with Challengers France, now in its second consecutive year, the brand aims to bring its FPS expertise to one of esports' fastest-growing competitive scenes. For ZOWIE, this partnership is not only a visibility opportunity but also a way to connect directly with players who are constantly seeking marginal gains. According to the brand, most
Challengers France players are now equipped with ZOWIE monitors ranging from 400Hz to 600Hz, products that have become reference points for fast-paced tactical FPS titles. This proximity to the professional scene has enabled ZOWIE better to understand the needs and expectations of high-level players.
Bringing professional conditions to the community
The idea behind ZOWIE Day is simple: let fans try competitive setups in conditions that actually feel like those of the pros. Participants could get hands-on with ZOWIE peripherals, mice, mousepads, and the latest monitors while also connecting with other gamers. For ZOWIE, it wasn’t just about showcasing products but about creating a real meeting place for the VALORANT community. The event was intentionally casual and interactive, giving fans a full-on esports day with direct access to pro-level gear.

This approach reflects ZOWIE’s broader philosophy. Rather than positioning its monitors as general gaming products, the brand presents them as competition equipment designed for players who care about visibility, consistency, and reaction time. In games like VALORANT and Counter-Strike 2, where duels can be decided in a fraction of a second, the difference between standard gaming hardware and esports-focused equipment becomes central to the performance conversation.
ZOWIE’s 600Hz flagship
The most striking product presented at the event was the ZOWIE XL2586X+, a 24.1-inch Full HD esports monitor featuring a Fast-TN panel and a native 600Hz refresh rate. Designed for the highest level of competitive play, the monitor is clearly aimed at players seeking maximum fluidity and minimal visual delay. ZOWIE promotes the XL2586X+ as its fastest esports monitor to date. The screen features DyAc 2, the latest version of the brand’s exclusive motion-blur reduction technology, which uses a new dual-backlight system to improve visual clarity during rapid movements. In practical terms, this is designed to help players track opponents more clearly during flicks, sprays, quick peeks, and fast camera rotations.
The XL2586X+ also introduces a new vivid color film, advertised as offering a 35% improvement in color performance compared to a standard TN panel. This is particularly relevant for a technology that is often criticized for its weaker color rendering. By improving visibility on complex backgrounds, ZOWIE aims to address one of TN monitors' historical limitations while preserving their main competitive advantage: speed. With its 600Hz refresh rate, 0.5 ms GtG response time, DyAc 2, and improved color performance, the XL2586X+ represents ZOWIE’s most aggressive attempt to push monitor performance further for fast FPS players.
A 400Hz reference for competitive FPS
Alongside the 600Hz model, ZOWIE also highlighted the XL2566X+, another 24.1-inch Full HD monitor built for competitive FPS titles. Equipped with a Fast-TN panel, a 400Hz refresh rate, and DyAc 2, the XL2566X+ is positioned as a high-level esports monitor for players who want elite performance without necessarily moving to 600Hz. The screen includes several features already familiar to ZOWIE users, including Black eQualizer, Color Vibrance, Auto Game Mode via XL Setting to Share, and the S Switch, which allows users to quickly switch between settings.

For many competitive players, 400Hz already represents a significant step above traditional 240Hz or 360Hz displays. The XL2566X+, therefore, appears as a natural continuation of ZOWIE’s esports monitor lineup: focused, specialized, and designed for players who prioritize competitive clarity over visual spectacle.
ZOWIE’s growing role in VALORANT
While ZOWIE’s identity remains strongly tied to Counter-Strike, the brand is increasingly visible in VALORANT. Beyond Challengers France, ZOWIE is already present as the official monitor partner across several major regions of the VCT ecosystem, including Pacific, China, and Americas. The brand says it has been close to the VCT ecosystem since 2023 and is now also investing in local leagues to remain connected to the teams and players shaping the professional circuit. This expansion is part of a broader competitive strategy.

The brand wants to reinforce its legitimacy in France while building a stronger community around its products. In a highly competitive monitor market, being associated with a national VALORANT league allows ZOWIE to reach its core audience directly and demonstrate why its products remain widely used by professional players. According to ZOWIE, the 2025 release of the new X+ series led many professional players to rediscover its monitor lineup. The company highlights three major areas of improvement: a faster TN panel, the evolution from DyAc+ to DyAc 2, and deeper work on color performance.
More than just the specs
In the end, ZOWIE Day in Paris was much more than just a product demo. It was a chance to show the brand’s vision: esports isn’t just about big numbers or flashy looks; it’s about gear that really fits the needs of competitive players. The XL2566X+ and XL2586X+ are perfect examples of that philosophy, and the conversations on-site reflected that real-world focus.
One pushes 400Hz as a serious competitive standard, while the other brings 600Hz into the conversation for players seeking the fastest possible display experience. In both cases, ZOWIE’s message remains consistent: performance comes from clarity, stability, and the ability to make better decisions faster. By bringing these monitors directly to the French community through its first ZOWIE Day in Paris, ZOWIE is not only promoting new products. It is also reinforcing its position as a brand built with, and for, esports competition.
