Estral Esports is shaking up its roster ahead of Split 3 — and in doing so, the club is facilitating an unexpected reunion. Per Sheep Esports sources, Park "
Summit" Woo-tae and Kim "
Winsome" Dong‑keon, who made their LCS debuts together on Cloud9 in 2022, will play for the team in the
Liga Regional Norte (LRN). This move was first posted by
barp999 on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The best LRN and NACL teams at the end of Split 3 will face off in a promotion tournament featuring Disguised, the current NACL guest team in the LTA North, in the hopes of promoting to Tier 1 in NA. This roster will be a strong contender.
Last split,
Summit came out of retirement to join Isurus Estral in the LTA South, hoping to lead the team to MSI. After Isurus and Estral Esports
mutually terminated their partnership, Isurus retained their LTA South spot, and Estral set their sights on the LRN.
Winsome started 2025 on LOUD, making his South American debut on a veritable powerhouse roster featuring some of Brazil's greatest talents. Unfortunately, the team didn't live up to expectations, and Winsome departed the roster after Split 1. Now, after a split away from competition, he's setting his eyes on a triumphant — if shocking — return to Tier 1 LoL in North America.
Per an
earlier Sheep Esports report, Estral's roster will also feature former Damwon Gaming ADC Jang "
Ghost" Yong-jun. Ghost — a three-time LCK champion, MSI finalist, and Worlds finalist — played with Summit on Liiv SANDBOX in 2019. In an unbelievable twist, two LCK players will make their competitive reunion on a Tier 2 Latin American roster.
