Nguyễn “Slayder” Linh Vương is set to join
Nigma Galaxy in the Arabian League, sources have confirmed to Sheep Esports on Wednesday. The Vietnamese had been playing in VCS, his local league, since 2018, but hadn't found a team for the spring split. Slayder's contract with GAM Esports had indeed been terminated by mutual agreement last November, even though the team had just won the VCS summer split - the third local title for Slayder - then qualified
for the Worlds Main Event by extracting itself from the play-in.
So it was from the outside that Slayder experienced
the match-fixing scandal that hit the VCS in the spring. A scandal that led to the suspension of 32 people linked to the championship and greatly damaged the league's image. A scandal which may also have motivated the player's departure for new horizons. In the Arabian League, Slayder lands indeed in a booming league, which could quickly look the best ERL teams in the eyes.
The Saudi team does not change everything, as Sheep Esports is also able to confirm that Egyptian toplaner Mohamed “Boda” Yahia, who was particularly prominent at EMEA Masters, retains his place on the roster.
