“Yuvi” Singh have reached a verbal agreement with
S8UL Esports for the 2026
VALORANT VCL South Asia (VCSA) season. In 2025,
SkRossi competed under the Velocity Gaming banner, which he joined to play the full Challengers circuit. With VLT, he won VCSA Split 1, finished 3rd in Split 2, then secured another title in Split 3, adding a second regional trophy to his year.
That momentum carried through into the Ascension race: Velocity Gaming won the domestic Ascension Qualifiers, then represented the region at the 2025 Pacific Ascension, where they placed 5th–6th after being eliminated in the playoffs.
Yuvi, for his part, has followed a more gradual trajectory on the emerging scene. In 2025, he joined Global Esports Academy, with whom he notably played Challengers League 2025 South Asia: Split 1, finishing 6th in the Main Event, as well as several local competitions such as Predator League India and various academy tournaments organized by Global Esports.
This stint in an academy environment gave him his first fully structured season within the official circuit, with a significant volume of maps played on the South Asian stage. In this context, a move to S8UL Esports for 2026 would represent a logical step up: a transition from academy player to a more exposed project alongside a veteran like SkRossi.
A 2025 season of gradual ascent for S8UL Esports
For S8UL Esports, the arrival of the SkRossi/Yuvi duo comes on the back of an already substantial 2025 campaign in South Asia Challengers. The Indian organization competed across the entire circuit, finishing 5th in the Main Event of Split 1, 4th in Split 2, and then securing 2nd place in Challengers 2025: South Asia Stage 3, behind Velocity Gaming, in a regional final.
At the end of the season, S8UL confirmed their status as a serious contender by placing 2nd in the Challengers 2025 South Asia: Ascension Qualifiers, once again falling to Velocity Gaming, who claimed the region’s sole spot for VCT Pacific Ascension.

In this context, building the 2026 roster around a duo composed of a flagship South Asian player like SkRossi coming off a 2025 campaign filled with titles and a Pacific Ascension appearance and a developing prospect like Yuvi, emerging from GE Academy, would align with a clear strategic direction for S8UL: capitalizing on a solid foundation of 2025 results to push for the next competitive tier.
