's summer season is taking yet another unexpected turn, though this one could, hopefully, be the move that finally puts an end to their troubles. According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, former LEC AD Carry
is set to join the team in the
LFL, making his return to France for the first time since his tenures with BK ROG Esports and BDS Academy.
Earlier this week, Joblife finished the
2026 LFL Summer regular season in seventh place with a 5-4 record. Despite a relatively successful campaign, the team ran into major internal issues when, as
reported by Sheep Esports,
expressed his desire to step back due to a lack of motivation and hope in the squad.
With 3XA departing after Week 2, Joblife did not have enough time to finalize a deal with a suitable AD Carry for the remainder of the group stage, forcing the team to resort to a short-term solution. As a result, toplaner
was role-swapped to AD Carry for the rest of the regular season.
All or Nothing
The situation Joblife finds itself in is one that exists solely in a team's worst nightmares. Now in the playoffs, the team finds itself with its back against the wall, as the current EMEA Masters titleholders
await in their first match. Still, who better to redeem JL's current position than a former LFL champion? Fresh off a runner-up finish in the Prime League and a semifinal appearance at the EMEA Masters
with Eintracht Spandau, Keduii is ready to fly in to the rescue, hopefully bringing some much-needed firepower to a stumbling roster.
Though known to many for his ERL pedigree, the German AD Carry has also been in need of a turnaround and will have plenty to prove during this new tenure.
Benched by SK Gaming at the end of 2025, the 25-year-old failed to retain his spot in the LEC and descended back to Tier 2. There, he and his team struggled in Winter, only achieving a fourth-place finish in the Prime League before being eliminated in the first round of the EMEA Masters. Despite a better performance in Spring, it was ultimately not enough for
,
who elected to make changes and bench Keduii in favor of
, leaving him teamless for the remainder of Summer.
A Desperate Solution
Joblife, on the other hand, has also had a difficult year thus far in the LFL. Despite a decent LFL Invitational, where the team finished in a shared fifth place, the squad ended Spring in an abysmal ninth place,
prompting changes to multiple positions, notably the arrival of 3XA, who took over
's position on the team. Unfortunately, 3XA only remained with the squad for two weeks before ultimately pushing for both parties to part ways, leaving Joblife scrambling for a solution.
The lack of time to secure a permanent replacement meant Joblife had to improvise. As reported, the team first hoped to acquire
from NLC team
which, per sources, ultimately fell through as the team failed secure the buyout in time. The squad then explored bringing back
, its former AD Carry from LFL Division 2, as shown in the
global contract database. With neither option materializing, Joblife ultimately brought recently benched toplaner
back into the starting lineup and shifted Ragner down to bot lane, allowing the team to complete the regular season without having to rush into an agreement that was not yet finalized.
Now, the die has been cast, and Joblife has at most two more chances ahead of it as it enters the LFL's double-elimination playoffs. With a tough match against Galions on the horizon, the squad has little room for error and even less time to adapt. For Keduii, meanwhile, it is a chance to immediately make an impact and help Joblife turn a turbulent Summer around.
