Frankie “
Zamudo” Lin has once again been denied a visa and is still unable to join his team,
LYON, in the United States for the start of the LCS season. To address this last-minute issue, the Mexican organization has reached a verbal agreement with Indian toplaner Niship “
Dhokla” Doshi, sources tell
Sheep Esports on Tuesday.
Last year, when he joined LYON ahead of the LTA North Split 3, he was denied entry into the country and was therefore loaned to Isurus in the LTA South, where he was only able to play one best-of series—the team’s elimination match. The Canadian Toplaner is still under contract with LYON until the end of 2027 and could rejoin the team if his situation is resolved, but for now seems likely that Dhokla will play next split and rest of the year.
Dhokla is thus arriving to help out another North American team. Last year was similar—
he initially joined 100 Thieves as part of the coaching staff but ended up taking Rayan “Sniper” Shoura’s spot and even played at Worlds 2025 with 100T. By the end of the offseason, Dhokla still didn’t have a team; that’s now changed.
In 2025, Zamudo was only able to play 14 best-of series, totaling 42 games—a rather low average for a player who could have appeared far more in the LTA if not for his visa issues. According to sources, the reason given for the toplaner’s visa denial was that he does not have sufficient international recognition.
The lineup for this year looks very promising, highlighted by the signing of the 2025 LTA North MVP, Polish jungler Kacper “
Inspired” Słoma, alongside the retention of Kang “
Saint” Sung-in in midlane, Kim “
Berserker” Min-cheol as AD Carry, and Jonah “
Isles” Rosario on support. The project will also be led by a high-profile Head Coach, Kim “
Reignover” Yeu-jin.
