LGD Gaming are one of the fully Chinese rosters in the LPL for this Split 1. The team made two changes in the mid–jungle duo, while the rest of the roster remained intact. In 2025, the team reached the playoffs twice but never went beyond a 9th–12th place finish in the league. Wu "Climber" Hong-Tao and Zheng "xqw" Xia-Jian are the two players who left the team, and both are currently free agents.
The roster is therefore composed of Yan "sasi" Rui, who remains in the toplane, joined by jungler Yang "Heng" Cui-Heng and midlaner Lin "Tangyuan" Yu-Hong. The botlane remains unchanged, with Qiu "Shaoye" Guo-Bin as AD carry alongside the roster’s veteran, support Zhao "Ycx" Wen-Hao.
The coaching staff will be led by Chen "1874" Li-Xin, with LGD since early 2023, mostly as Head Coach. Throughout this period, he has been assisted by Xia "Chelizi" Han-Xi and will continue to be in 2026. Their best result during this time was a 9th–10th place finish in Summer 2024.
Playoffs in Sight
Since the days of Korean legend Han "
Peanut" Wang-ho in 2020, when LGD reached the top 4 in Summer and qualified for Worlds, the team has never really achieved satisfying results. LPL champions in 2015—their only title—2026 still doesn’t seem to be their year. sasi will enter his second year in the LPL, as well as his second with LGD; he previously played for ThunderTalk Gaming Young in the LDL.
In the jungle, Heng begins his fourth year in the LPL. A LDL champion with
Young Miracles, he entered the Tier 1 scene in 2023 with Team WE, where he spent two years before joining Oh My God for two fairly average splits in 2025. In the midlane, the roster’s rookie Tangyuan comes from the Royal Club academy. He played for
Royal Never Give Up in the LPL for three years before joining LGD.
In the bot lane, Shaoye reunites with the jungler he played with in the LDL. Having also been part of Joy Dream and Invictus Gaming Young, he joined the LPL with LGD in 2024 and will begin his third year in 2026. The roster’s veteran is the support, Ycx, who isn’t the most experienced; at 25, he is entering only his second year in the LPL, in the same club, having previously won the LDL with EDward Gaming Youth Team.
