Day two of the LCK Season 2026 confirmed early trends, with a fourth 2–0 sweep in as many series, as
defeated
in straight games to secure their first win of the season. After a slow start at the LCK Cup, the team showed clear improvement toward the end of the opening tournament, largely coinciding with
-su taking over as the starting support. His botlane partner — with whom he reached the 2025 World Championship final —
spoke to
Sheep Esports after the match. The AD carry reflected on the series and discussed his communication with Peter.
You started the LCK season with a 2-0 victory. Any thoughts on that?
Seo "deokdam" Dae-gil: "Yesterday's match and today's earlier match both ended 2-0, so I had a feeling that if we won the first game, we'd take the series. I'm glad we won cleanly 2-0.
How has your role in the botlane with Peter changed compared to when you were on KT?
deokdam: Back then, I don't think Peter and I communicated with each other all that smoothly, but this year I feel like we're communicating much better.
Now that some time has passed since you joined the team, your synergy must have improved quite a bit. How does communication work during matches?
deokdam: Overall, I think everyone is doing a good job of saying what needs to be said, and when it comes to what they want to do, everyone speaks up like "I want to make this play," so I think that part has been really good.
deokdam: Since they're off-meta picks, we thought they'd be harder for the opponents to deal with, and I think we picked them because
is really good at playing those kinds of champions.
Since we're a global media outlet, could you say a few words to the international fans?
deokdam: First of all, thank you so much for cheering for us from afar, and I'll repay your support with even better performances. Thank you.”
