It is already the end of the story between
ZYB and Gabriël “
Bwipo” Rau after just
one day as a coach in the
LFL Invitational. The organization’s CEO and midlaner, Yasin “
Nisqy” Dinçer, announced it on stream on Tuesday: “
We already don’t have a coach anymore guys, we had a coach for one day.” Nisqy added that Bwipo did not expect it to take that much time and that he prefers to focus on something else.
At the start of the year, Bwipo was set to join Jean “Trayton” Medzadourian’s team, French Flair, as their jungler. However, the roster was not complying with ERL rules. Article 3.1.5 indeed states that an ERL starting lineup may include no more than two such veterans — a player who has participated in more than 50% of eligible matches in a professional league (LEC, LCS, LPL, LCK, etc.) in at least three of the last five completed splits
, and FF was already featuring Adam “
Adam” Maanane and Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé.
As a result,
Bwipo had to relinquish his spot, which was later filled by Isak “NattyNatt” Elgh. As a reminder, after completing his two years with FlyQuest, Bwipo was open to offers both as a jungler and a toplaner, in North America as well as a potential return to Europe. So far, the 2018 Worlds finalist has no plans for 2026, and he has therefore turned to coaching, which he has already done to some extent individually in the past with İbrahim "
Gakgos" Samet Bulut, Diego "
Brance" Amaral, and Vladimiros "
Vladi" Kourtidis.
