At EVO Vegas, Riot Games revealed Lux and Samira for
2XKO, its fighting game set in the
League of Legends universe. In this video, the North American publisher showcased part of Lux's kit alongside a visual rework while announcing that the full trailer for the Lady of Luminosity will be released this fall, likely during EVO France, which will take place from October 9 to 11, 2026.
After previously announcing plans to release five champions in 2026, Riot Games has now indicated that six characters are expected to join the roster this year. Following Caitlyn's release in January, Akali joined the game in early April, before the Senna/Thresh duo arrived a few weeks ago on June 9. While Lux is expected to be fully revealed in the coming months, Samira has not yet been detailed and is therefore expected to arrive later in the year.
From June 26 to 28, EVO Vegas took place as the third Major of the 2026 2XKO competitive season. Already crowned champion at EVO Japan, Jo'siah "Hikari" Miller also claimed the title at this event, defeating the duo of Dominique "SonicFox" McLean and Lenwood "INZEM" Arnold in the Grand Final.
