Riot Games published its annual update on X this Thursday regarding the
VALORANT Champions Tour teams generating the highest capsule sales since the start of the season. Available for purchase since the beginning of the year, these capsules are generally released annually for each organization and typically include a Classic skin, a gun buddy, a player card, and a spray.
Fans are free to purchase whichever capsule they choose in order to support their favorite teams in-game, with 50% of the profits generated by each team’s collection being shared with the corresponding team throughout the year. Riot Games revealed yesterday the top five best-selling capsules across the four major regions.
VCT EMEA: Team Heretics remain on top
Fresh off their
VCT EMEA Stage 1 title,
Team Heretics retained the first place they had already occupied last year. Despite inconsistent results throughout parts of the season, the organization’s supporters continued to show strong backing for the team. The same can be said for
Gentle Mates and
Fnatic, who occupy second and third place, respectively.
Team Liquid enters the top five despite its recent playoff disappointment. Finally,
Karmine Corp rounds out the ranking thanks to one of the most engaged fanbases in the scene, although the organization still drops three places compared to last season.
VCT Americas: Leviatán still leads the way
As was already the case last year, the Argentine organization once again finishes ahead of the league’s biggest names by securing first place. Leviatán experienced a relatively underwhelming season in 2025 but has since qualified for the upcoming Masters London. Just like in 2025, G2 Esports and Sentinels complete the podium, while reigning world champions NRG and MIBR both enter the top five.
VCT Pacific: Paper Rex reclaim first place
At the time of the first rankings last year,
T1 still occupied first place ahead of
Paper Rex in
VCT Pacific. This season, however, the two teams have swapped positions. Having built a massive international following over several years, Paper Rex has reclaimed the top spot many associate with the organization.
DetonatioN FocusMe secures third place despite relatively modest results within the league. Meanwhile,
Masters Santiago champions
Nongshim RedForce rank only fourth, ahead of
Gen.G Esports, who fall one place compared to last year.
VCT China: EDG overtaken
One of the breakout organizations in China since the start of the year, All Gamers has now surpassed EDward Gaming, who drop to second place despite continuing to deliver strong regional performances. Bilibili Gaming slips one spot compared to last season and now sits third. Despite less convincing competitive results overall, FunPlus Phoenix and TYLOO nevertheless occupy fourth and fifth place respectively.
The notable absentees
Despite the arrival of several high-profile players and significantly improved performances that led them to a Stage 1 final appearance, Team Vitality does not feature in the top five. The same applies to BBL Esports, who lose their place despite stronger competitive results than last year. Once among the most popular organizations in the scene, LOUD’s continued absence from the rankings mirrors the team’s declining results over recent seasons, while major North American brands such as 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses also fail to appear in the top five.
Recently qualified for Masters London, Global Esports and FULL SENSE have not yet built the level of popularity required to enter these rankings, while KRX continues to struggle to return to the top of VCT Pacific this year. Finally, in China, both Trace Esports and JD Gaming fall out of the top five compared to last season, while Xi Lai Gaming, despite consistently convincing performances, still fails to break into the rankings.
