Kozi will be the only change in UCAM's roster

Toplaner Jarosław "Kozi" Marchewka is expected to join UCAM Esports Club next year in Superliga, sources tell Sheep Esports. After a year without satisfactory results in the game, the Spanish team is making a change with the arrival of the young Polish toplaner.

He is expected to replace his fellow Polish player Jakub "Sinmivak" Rucki, who held the role last season. The team that did not reach the EMEA Masters even once this year had decided at the beginning of the offseason to retain its entire lineup, only changing the toplaner as previously reported by Sheep Esports.

The only change on the line-up

The team had announced on its X account that the players and staff would renew their contracts for the year 2026. While the roster is currently participating in the Iberian Cup this month, only the team's toplaner, Sinmivak, is expected to leave the team for personal reasons.

Last year, the team had a difficult season, failing to qualify for the playoffs during the first two splits. During the Summer split, despite a third-place finish and a 3-2 elimination against Los Heretics, UCAM will not have enough points in total to qualify for the EMEA Masters.

Kozi, on the other hand, is coming off a much more successful year with Zero Tenacity. The team won all three splits of Rift Legends. The team will reach the round of 16 at the EMEA Masters Spring but will be eliminated at the gates of the playoffs in the summer. Kozi is having a good season with his team and his stock is rising to the point where other ERL teams are interested as his contract is expiring.

Among the interested teams, a good part of them were from LFL. Ici Japon Corp. Esport had made an offer for the player, while Solary and Joblife had also considered him. The player ultimately prioritized the Superliga option with UCAM Esports. He will try to bring the team back to EMEA Masters with the rest of the team.
