LUA Gaming recently joined the Liga Española de
League of Legends (LES), becoming one of the eight Spanish teams in the circuit. The organization’s roster will consist of toplaner Daniel "
Dani" Gómez Martínez, jungler Edison "
Pegaso" Rivera Menéndez, midlaner Raúl "
Hydra" Moreno Valero, AD Carry Jorge "
Kaii" Saiz Hoyos, and support Tomáš "
TIMR" Buštík, sources tell

The team will take part in the LES 2026 Kick-off Tournament, which will be held from February 13 to 15. The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, playing a GSL-style group bracket where the top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs, followed by a single-elimination bracket played in BO3.
A Third Year in the Spanish Circuit
LUA Gaming entered the Spanish esports scene in 2024 through the Second Division and immediately won the Spring Split. At the time, the roster included a young Romanian prospect, Costin “Hazel” Pestrițu, who is currently playing in LEC Versus for Karmine Corp Blue.
In Summer, the team benefited from Case Esports shutting down its League of Legends operations, allowing LUA Gaming to take over the LVP SuperLiga slot, where they finished eighth in the Summer Split. In 2025, the organization secured the services of Hydra early on, but the year proved to be a difficult one.
LUA Gaming finished seventh in both Winter and Summer, with a fourth-place finish in Spring. More recently, the team won the Iberian Cup, defeating UCAM Esports 3–1 in the final. During the competition, they fielded Dani in the toplane, who will remain with the team going forward.
