List of qualified teams for League of Legends Worlds 2026

The 2026 League of Legends World Championship is fast approaching, with the tournament set to take place from October 15 to November 14. A total of 19 of the best teams from six major regions will battle it out across the United States for the title and the chance to succeed T1, the reigning three-time World Champions.

This year's event will be held across three cities, beginning with the Play-In Stage in Los Angeles, before moving to Allen, Texas, for the Swiss Stage, Quarterfinals and Semifinals. The tournament will then culminate in the Grand Final at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on November 14.

The Play-In Stage will feature four teams this time around, compared to just two last year. These four teams are expected to be the LPL's fourth seed, as well as the third seeds from the LCS, LEC and LCP. A double-elimination bracket played in a best-of-five format, with only the winner advancing to the Main Event.

The LCK's fourth seed, meanwhile, will advance directly to the Swiss Stage following Hanwha Life Esports' victory at the Mid-Season Invitational. HLE will therefore already be qualified for Worlds thanks to their qualification for the LCK Playoffs. The Main Stage, meanwhile, will once again feature a Swiss Stage, with BO1s throughout the opening rounds and BO3s for qualifying and elimination matches.
