The LEC Versus regular season has come to an end on Sunday, February 8, and the eight
teams qualified for the playoffs are now all confirmed: Karmine Corp, NAVI, Team Vitality, Team Heretics, GIANTX, Movistar KOI, G2 Esports and Fnatic. The four remaining teams have been eliminated: Shifters, Los Ratones, SK Gaming, and Karmine Corp Blue.
On a final matchday where fates were intertwined and scenarios more complex than ever, the Heretics’ victory over KC late in the evening shocked many and ultimately tipped the balance for
Los Ratones and Shifters. G2 ended the regular season on a strong note with a win over Fnatic, who still managed to qualify for the playoffs.
Sheep Esports’ Team of the Week, with a maximum of two players per team, features Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan in the toplane, Mehdi “Boukada” Lahlou in the jungle, Tolga “Serin” Ölmez in the midlane, Yoon “Ice” Sang-hoon as AD carry, and Kadir “Fleshy” Kemiksiz as support. For his two standout performances this week, Ice has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the week.
Toplane: Naak Nako
This marks the Turkish toplaner’s third appearance in our Team of the Week, the second in a row. And for good reason: across two games, he secured three solo kills, two against Movistar KOI’s toplaner Alex “
Myrwn” Pastor Villarejo, and a third against Simon “
Baus” Hofverberg's Sion, whom he allowed through to pick a Dr. Mundo that proved extremely hard to take down. So far, Naak Nako has been one of the best toplaners in the league.
Jungle: Boukada
Despite the elimination, Boukada and Shifters had a really strong week. He is the only Tier 1 player in 2026 to have played Skarner, delivering a solid performance against Karmine Corp Blue on The Primordial Sovereign. His second game of the week against SK Gaming was also very good, with a huge Wukong performance where he landed game-saving ultimates and even clutch engages that secured the win for his team.
Midlane: Serin
It was a huge week for Heretics, who secured qualification by taking down the league leaders, Karmine Corp, and Serin played a major role in it. On Saturday, the Turkish midlaner picked up a strong win against Fnatic, where he dominated Vladimiros “
Vladi” Kourtidis in lane. Then against KC, despite having a fairly difficult laning phase against the LeBlanc of Kang “kyeahoo” Ye-hoo, the rest of his game was flawless. He finished 9/0/4 and qualified for the playoffs in his very first LEC appearance. After such a performance against kyeahoo, it is legitimate to wonder whether it might not have been inconsistent to try Serin for KC.
AD Carry: Ice (MVP)
Ice is our MVP of the week, and it’s well deserved. In the opening game of the weekend against Fnatic, he secured a win on Jhin while dealing massive damage in team fights. In the second game of the week against KC, he picked up an early double kill and snowballed from there, helping Heretics secure their playoff qualification.
Support: Fleshy
To round out this Team of the Week, we have a second Vitality player and the third Turkish representative: Fleshy. His first game on Neeko against KOI was strong, and he even ended up as MVP after a very clean engage while his team was at a numbers disadvantage. In the second best-of, Fleshy’s laning phase didn’t start perfectly, but on Alistar he still managed to find several good Headbutt–Pulverize combos.
