have secured the LCK's fourth seed for the 2026
League of Legends World Championship after defeating
in the Lower Bracket Final at MSI 2026. As
had defeated the LCK representatives in the upper bracket final of the event, they also have secured a top two result at MSI 2026 and four slots for the LPL at Worlds 2026.
But the fight for the MSI title is far from over and whoever will claim the highest position on the podium will also be guaranteed an invite for Worlds — provided they can qualify for their region’s Summer Playoffs.
A total of
19 teams will compete at Worlds 2026, which will take place in North America starting from October 15th.
The LCS, LCP, and LEC will each send three representatives, while CBLOL will receive two slots. The MSI champion — either BLG or HLE — will also qualify for Worlds, provided the team qualifies for its domestic Summer Playoffs. As mentioned above, the second-best performing region at MSI will receive an additional Worlds seed.
The Play-In Stage will feature four teams competing in a double-eliminationBo5 bracket, with one team advancing to the Swiss Stage. Worlds 2026 will begin on Oct. 15th with the Play-In Stage in Los Angeles and conclude on Nov. 14th with the Grand Final in New York City.
