Karmine Corp’s stellar year in
Game Changers continues. On Friday, October 10, the Blue Wall secured the first
Championship qualification in its history — the world championship for
VALORANT’s women and marginalized genders scene. This milestone comes after a 2-0 victory over
GIANTX GC.
With this win, KC has locked in a spot in the
VCT GC EMEA Playoffs, guaranteeing enough Championship Points to punch their ticket to Seoul. As a reminder, the Championship will take place in the South Korean capital from November 20 to 30.
Karmine Corp’s remarkable run shows no signs of slowing down. After already claiming
back-to-back titles in the first two stages of the VCT GC EMEA season — defeating GIANTX both times — the French organization will now get the chance to test itself against the best teams in the world in just over a month.
Before that, however, KC have another challenge ahead: securing a historic three-peat by winning Stage 3. Doing so would make them only the second team ever, alongside G2 Gozen, to achieve such a feat in Game Changers EMEA history. For now, Karmine is well on its way, with a 5-1 record in the Swiss Stage and a playoffs spot already secured.
After a difficult 2024 season, this first-ever qualification for the Championship crowns what has been a dominant and resurgent year for Karmine Corp. Blue Wall fans will once again have the opportunity to cheer for their team on Korean soil, following their
League of Legends roster’s appearance in Seoul earlier this year during the
First Stand.
