According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, ACE, short for
Arrogant and Conquerer, has recruited Tomas "
Vorwenn" Baldrich. The Chinese organization, which is launching its esports operations in
VALORANT, is said to have built its project around him, with the Spanish player having been established for some time in
Challengers Spain as an In-Game Leader. The full roster has not yet been revealed, but the team is expected to compete in the
VALORANT China National Tournament, the Chinese Tier 2 circuit.
Having previously played for Bisons EClub, Real Betis, Ramboot Club, and Movistar Riders,
Vorwenn notably performed well in 2024 with Barça Esports. Joining in January, he helped the team in its pursuit of first place during Split 2 of VCL Spain, even though their Ascension EMEA run ended in the group stage. The 2025 season proved more difficult, including a stint in the promotion and relegation tournament, where the club managed to survive and remain in Challengers. Eventually, despite a Top 3/4 finish in the final split of the year, he was sidelined and is no longer part of FCB’s active roster in 2026.
He is therefore set to join the ACE project in China alongside local players. According to sources close to the situation, the Spanish leader is expected to be joined by “Strawberrycc,” a Chinese Duelist familiar with the Chinese Tier 2 scene, and “yCw,” who previously played for Royal Never Give Up and won Season 4 of the China National Tournament in 2025 with Chosen Clique Gaming. Still, according to Sheep Esports, ACE are also expected to recruit Viperss, a Chinese player who has never competed professionally before but has reached Rank 1 in China.
The team is expected to be led by Lee "
Xive" Do-hoon, as reported first by
@GoogGoogGame on X, a South Korean coach who previously worked with Onside Gaming and SLT, with whom he won Ascension Pacific 2025 as an analyst. In addition, he has also had experience in China with TOP Esports and Dragon Ranger Gaming, making him well seasoned for this new adventure.
