The Unicorns have found their latest love. According to Sheep Esports sources, midlaner Anselmi “
Simpli” Rintanen has reached a verbal agreement with
Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition (USE) for the upcoming
Prime League season. The Finnish player completes a roster that includes
Felix “Fornoreason” Schummel in the toplane,
Aslan “White” Panglose in the jungle,
Nikolaj “DenVoksne” Meilby as AD Carry, and
Daniel “seaz” Binderhofer as support.
Simpli is set to begin his third consecutive season in the German first league. He spent the previous two seasons with Schalke 04, achieving mixed results. After three mid-table finishes, Simpli’s strongest Prime League performance came in the Summer Split of 2024 when Schalke 04 reached the league final, only to fall 3-1…to USE. This runner-up finish earned Simpli a spot at his first-ever EMEA Masters, where his team advanced through the Swiss Stage but was eliminated in the Round of 16 by one of the tournament favorites, Karmine Corp Blue.
Simpli’s journey with Schalke 04 concluded with an early elimination in the Prime League Pokal’s Round of 16 at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt last October. Indeed, Schalke had announced earlier in the year that they would be ceasing operations in
League of Legends at the end of the season. As a result, Simpli needed to find a new home for 2025—and now he finds himself on solid ground with the reigning Prime League champions.
