Riot Games has shared new details about the next expansions for
League of Legendsâ trading card game,
Riftbound. After its launch and
the first expansion set, Riot released more information about the other three upcoming sets,
Unleashed, Vendetta, and Radiance, coming out this year.
And the announcements were made during GAMA Expo 2026, where Riot revealed release dates, new products, and the first dedicated two-player starter decks for the game. Riot had mentioned its wish to â
begin supporting multiplayer moreâ on Riftbound, and the upcoming starter decks seems to be fitting those plans perfectly.
But the announcements did not stop there and more are bound to come our way as Unleashedâs release date approaches. Here are all the new information on Riftbound released by Riot on March 5th.

Riftbound: Unleashed focuses on jungle champions, continuing the theme with alternate rare rune cards featuring artwork inspired by Leagueâs jungle camps and environments.
Riot confirmed the Legends for Unleashed so far. Youâll see:
- Pyke
- Vi
- Vex
- Diana
- Master Yi
- Rengar
Unleashed will also include the Unleashed Vault, a premium expansion bundle scheduled to release on MayâŻ8th. The Vault will contain six Unleashed booster packs, 36 basic runes, three double-sided full-art promo tokens, and two punch-out art dividers in a reusable storage box.
Everything We Know About Riftbound: Vendetta So Far

The fourth Riftbound expansion, Vendetta, will launch on July 31st and will focus on rivalries across Runeterra. The theme will show up in artworks, choice of legends, and gameplay mechanics too.
With Vendetta Riot is also adding new rune pairings to the game for the first time, including Fury and Calm (Red and Green), Mind and Body (Blue and Orange), and Chaos and Order (Purple and Yellow). And with these combinations the meta will most likely change drastically, opening up new deckbuilding possibilities for players who enjoy experimenting with strategies.
And the Vendetta set will also expand the collectible side of Riftbound by adding Showcase cards that will feature famous rival duos. For now Riot has revealed only two duosâJayce and Viktor, Vi and Jinxâbut it would be a safe assumption to expect Shen and Zed as well.
Every Champion Confirmed for Riftbound: Vendetta

Even if months in advance, Riot also confirmed several champions that will be featured in the Vendetta Set.
Here is a list of all legends confirmed for Vendetta:
- Nasus
- Renekton
- Akali
- Mel
- Ambessa
- Zed
- Shen
These champions highlight Vendettaâs focus on iconic rivalries, with the only odd one out being Akali. In League lore Akaliâs prime rival is also Zed, however since it has been confirmed that heâs tied to Shen it wouldn't be a surprise to see Jhin as Akaliâs prime rival. Nasus and Renekton represent the famous Shuriman brother conflict, while Ambessa and Melâs âat oddsâ relationship was seen in Arcaneâs second season.
Vendetta will also introduce Riftboundâs first two-player starter product with the Zed vs. Shen Showdown decks. Each box will contain two ready-to-play 56-card decks, two Vendetta booster packs, paper playmats, and a rulebook. None of the cards inside will be exclusive to the Showdown deck, meaning players can also find them in regular booster packs.
Everything We Know About Riftbound: Radiance

After Vendetta, Riot will release Radiance on October 23rd, a set that explore âcreativity and brillianceâ across Runeterra.
Radiance will feature a 180-card pool and more than 60 Showcase cards, making it one of the larger Riftbound expansions as of 2026. Riot also confirmed that Evelynn will join the set alongside previously revealed champions Ekko and Seraphine.
The fifth Riftboundâs expansion will also feature its own Showdown Deck product, this time starring Seraphine and Evelynn.
2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Riftbound, but whether the game can survive the test of time or succumb to the saturated TGC market is a question that will linger until the end of the year.
