According to the
information made public, Hivescale aims to turn INTZ into a platform for innovation and development, focusing both on competitive performance and new business models. The group plans to invest in training programs, tech startups and community engagement initiatives, with the stated goal of helping build a more sustainable and profitable ecosystem. The announced budget will be deployed through 2030, with a particular focus on professionalizing management and creating new commercial opportunities for brands and creators.
On the competitive front, the project is not limited to
League of Legends, the title in which
INTZ is a five-time
CBLOL champion. Hivescale mentions initiatives in
VALORANT,
EAFC,
Rainbow Six and
Free Fire, while also targeting a return of the brand to the top of the Brazilian LoL scene. The group plans to lean on synergies with Stellae Gaming and marketing agency Black Duck, already under its control, to connect advertisers, players and developers within a single network.
The project will be led by Lucas Catharino, a former
AmBev executive and creator of the Good Game WP (GGWP) circuit. “
Esports has everything it needs to become a financially sustainable ecosystem in Brazil. A strong brand like INTZ, managed with responsibility and strategic vision, is the ideal formula for success,” he explains. This acquisition comes after a period of crisis for INTZ, marked by delayed salaries, a lack of sponsors and debts that ultimately led its teams to inactivity in late 2024. The organization lost its CBLOL slot and saw its application for Riot Games’ new Sul Conference rejected, before withdrawing from all titles in 2025.
