After many weeks of tryouts,
Dignitas has confirmed the addition of former
Rocket League franchise star Jack
"ApparentlyJack" Benton in preparation for the North American Last Chance Qualifier. The Englishman, who lost his spot on the starting lineup at Geekay Esports following Open 6, previously competed with Dignitas at two separate
RLCS World Championships in 2022 and 2025. The move will mark his second stint in North America and a final chance to make the 2026 World Championship, having been present at the previous four. The 22-year-old beat out notable names like Gwil
"Creamz" Muir, Christopher
"Aqua" Campbell, Lucas
"RelatingWave" Rose, and Liam
"yujin" Daillac for the role.
ApparentlyJack is one of the most experienced RLCS players in the world but is coming off a poor season with Geekay Esports, missing out on a Major for the first time since RLCS 2021-22. After earning a top-eight at the Boston Major alongside Enzo
"Seikoo" Grondein and Joseph
"Joyo" Young, the team chose to move on from Seikoo, adding Danish professional Christian
"TempoH" Mortensen to the starting roster coming into Split 2. Results quickly dwindled as the team failed to make a single playoff appearance in the run up to the Paris Major. The addition of Victor
"Fairy Peak!" Locquet to the coaching position for the final Regional could not change the team’s trajectory, as they closed out the season with a 13th-16th finish in Open #6. Due to the lineup’s dismal end to the season, Geekay Esports quickly
targeted the addition of Kaydop Corp duo Yanis
"Alpha54" Champenois and Mathis
"mtzr" as replacements for Joyo and ApparentlyJack.
Following the departure of Jordan
"Evoh" Manley, who is
expected to join Gen.G Mobil1 Racing for the NA LCQ, Dignitas were forced to consider their options to close out the season. The American professional was a consistent backbone for Dignitas across two stints, having rejoined the organization ahead of RLCS 2026. Bora
"bora" Sari and Logan
"Fiv3Up" Seaman have conducted tryouts with a number of players since confirmation of Evoh’s departure. Creamz, who had formerly played with Fiv3Up under Pirates on a Boat, became the domestic favourite for the position before ApparentlyJack entered the picture in recent weeks. The English veteran forced his way into contention as a big-name import who already had a long history with Dignitas.
Dignitas has now confirmed the addition of the former Major Champion after he signed up for the NA LCQ with the organization on June 18. ApparentlyJack becomes only the second player in the Open Era to join an organization for the third time. He gives the team needed experience ahead of what will be a tense period for the lineup. Starting on July 03, the NA LCQ gives Dignitas one shot at making the 2026 World Championship, where they will face other strong lineups such as FUT Esports and Gen.G.
