Tyson "TenZ" Ngo has officially unveiled the full list of finalists for his
VALORANT Community Awards. What sets the initiative apart is its decision-making process: rather than being determined by fan votes or raw statistics, the results are driven by the competitors themselves, players, and coaches through a points-based ranking system in which each voter submits a top five per category, producing a final shortlist of three nominees.
In that respect, the initiative is reminiscent of
Counter-Strike’s widely known
HLTV Awards, which likewise spotlight standout performances through a dedicated ceremony. Among the finalists, several names recur across categories: Kajetan
"kaajak" Haremski, for instance, is nominated multiple times, including Duelist, Rookie, and even Global MVP, while Adam
"mada" Pampuch appears both in the Duelist/Rookie discussions and among the contenders for Americas MVP.
Developed in partnership with Riot Games and Red Bull, the ceremony is designed to foreground peer recognition across the two flagship circuits, VCT and
Game Changers.
The event is scheduled for February 4 at 9:00PM PST, and will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on
TenZ’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
