The University of Barcelona recently joined the Liga Española of
League of Legends (LES), becoming one of the eight Spanish teams in the circuit. The organization’s roster will consist of toplaner "
Skiller99", jungler Iván "
Ivama" Torn, midlaner Pau "
Pauporter" Vintró, "
Adrianlaneitor" and Sergi "
Simpy" Ruiz, sources tell
Sheep Esports.
The Head Coach will be former Barça Esports substitute and content creator Xavier “Xixauxas” Fluxà. Xixauxas is well known in the community, as he has been a content creator and streamer for years after retiring from competitive play in 2020, when he competed for eMonkeyz, ASUS ROG Army, and S2V Esports. This will be his first split as Head Coach.
About the roster:
According to sources, Skiller99 will be the team’s toplaner. He is a student at the University of Barcelona and will be entering his first competitive experience within the professional scene. Ivama, the jungler, brings prior experience from Liga Nexo, where he competed with UNIVERSAE, Erfolg Esports, and Green Dolphin. He also recently played in the GLL (Greek League) with Team Refuse.
Pauporter served as a substitute for Barça Esports from January 2024 to February 2026, gaining experience within a structured Tier 1 organization environment. During this period, he was regularly involved in team dynamics and match preparation despite not being a permanent starter. Alongside his role at Barça, he competed throughout the entirety of 2025 with UNIVERSAE Academy in the Circuito Tormenta.
The ADC, Adrianlaneitor, competed for the first time in the Circuito Tormenta during the 2024–2025 season. He quickly established himself as one of the strongest players in his role and, with a peak Elo of 1,200 LP Challenger, is considered one of the most promising talents in the league.
Simpy, meanwhile, has competed at the highest level for many years. He has represented historic organizations such as Wizards, MAD Lions, BCN Squad, and QLASH, among others. His recent achievements include a third–fourth place finish at the Iberian Cup 2025 with VVV, where they were eliminated 0–3 by eventual champions LUA Gaming. He also won the Circuito Tormenta 2024–2025 with Nocturne Gale, the NLC Summer Playoffs with Venomcrest, and the Superliga Segunda Spring Split 2023 with Wizards. A veteran of the Spanish scene, he is expected to bring experience and leadership to the roster.
