Once a toplaner who thrilled European
League of Legends fans, Adam "
Adam" Maanane now finds himself without a team. In a lengthy post on
his X account, the French toplaner reflected on his offseason, during which his options gradually narrowed, as well as his future and his desire to return to the top level of European play.
Adam’s offseason has been fairly slow, as he mentioned. First, Natus Vincere
allowed him to explore his options after a difficult Summer Split in which the team failed to win a single BO3. As reported by
Sheep Esports at the time, it wasn’t impossible that he could join an LCS team, but that move never materialized.
Adam is currently a free agent. According to
Sheep Esports, nearly all LEC's toplane slots are already filled, with the only remaining option at Fnatic—but
that spot is being contested between Panagiotis "Empyros" Tantis, Francesco "Shelfmade" Cardia, and Óscar "Oscarinin" Muñoz. Adam has announced that he is leaving Berlin, where the
LEC studio is located, to move back to Paris.
He plans to increase his streaming presence on the already vibrant French scene, while keeping the same goal: to continue playing professionally. As he said, "My ultimate goal is obviously to return to the highest level—that’s what I live for."
