Fabian "FEBIVEN" Diepstraten is back. The former EU LCS champion and midlane star will make his coaching debut this Summer as Assistant Coach for NORD Esports, competing in the NLC. The 27-year-old Dutchman retired from professional play in 2024, bringing to a close a decade-long career that included European titles with Fnatic, a stint in North America, and a lengthy journey through various ERLs.
This marks a return to familiar territory for FEBIVEN. In 2021, he competed in the NLC under Fnatic Rising, reaching the finals twice without clinching a title. Four years later, heâs back â this time as a coach â with a team thatâs still hunting for its breakthrough.
"This feels like my last chance â I will make it count"
He brings a wealth of experience with him. From solo-killing Faker at MSI 2015 to mentoring rookies in ERLs across Europe, his career has spanned every level of competitive play. He was known not only for his mechanical prowess in his prime, but also for his strong voice in-game â a trait many believe will serve him well on the other side of the screen.
