One player continues to further cement his legacy in
LCK history. Despite sometimes appearing to be underappreciated or too often overlooked when discussing the players who have shaped the league,
secured his 500th LCK victory on Friday, becoming the first toplaner to reach the milestone.
In a one-sided series dominated by
against
, Kiin picked up the two wins he needed to reach the landmark, further consolidating his fourth place in the all-time LCK wins rankings. After joining the league in 2018 with
Afreeca Freecs, Kiin had to wait until 2024 to claim his first LCK title with Gen.G, before following it up with a highly successful 2025 season.
A great career nearing its end
With 848 games played in the LCK, Kiin currently boasts a win rate of around 59% in the league. That overall figure may seem relatively modest considering how dominant he has been in recent years, both with Gen.G and previously with KT Rolster. Unsurprisingly, the champion on which he has secured the most victories in the league is Renekton, with 46 wins. The versatile pick has remained viable across a wide variety of metas throughout the years.
His second-most successful champion is considerably more recent, however, as it is K'Sante. Released in 2022, the champion has become one of Kiin's trademarks, with the Korean toplaner establishing himself as one of, if not the, best K'Sante players in the world. He has recorded 36 wins in 51 LCK games on the champion.
Kiin is the only toplaner but not the only Gen.G player among the top 10 players with the most LCK victories, with four members of the current roster featuring on the list. Midlaner
sits second, tied with Han "
Peanut" Wang-ho at 545 wins, while
ranks sixth with 486 victories, ahead of
, who sits eighth with 473.
Despite this already significant achievement, it may be difficult for Kiin to climb much further up the rankings. His contract with Gen.G Esports expires at the end of the year, while the 27-year-old is also expected to begin his mandatory military service soon. With one of the most consistent careers of the past several years potentially approaching its final chapter, Kiin's future remains uncertain for now.
