The most well-known esports database,
Liquipedia.net,
has revealed the most viewed pages on its site in 2025, with an almost total dominance of
Counter-Strike 2 and
Dota 2 among the most viewed players. Founded in 2006 and attracting around 38 million unique users per year, the encyclopedia is arguably the most widely followed and used esports website, both by the public and by stakeholders across the ecosystem, regardless of the game, player, or competition.
It is also worth noting that Liquipedia published a
Top 5 of the nationalities that visit the encyclopedia the most.
The United States ranks first, ahead of the Philippines and Indonesia, with both countries being particularly active around
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the most followed mobile esport. Russia, driven mainly by interest in
Dota 2 and
Counter-Strike, finishes just off the podium, ahead of France, which rounds out the Top 5.
Three Vitality players in Top 10
Liquipedia thus presented the Top 10 most viewed player pages of 2025, with Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev taking first place, just ahead of Danil "donk" Kryshkovets. This is the reverse of the 2024 ranking, where the new Russian Counter-Strike star had finished ahead of the Ukrainian player. The latter’s return to competition, first with FaZe Clan and then with BCGames, likely contributed to this change. The real surprise in this Top 10 comes in third place, with Alexis "zen" Bernier, the French Rocket League player from Team Vitality, the only player in the ranking not competing in a VALVE title.
Behind him, Wang "Ame" Chunyu and Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov, players for Xtreme Gaming and PARIVISION respectively, in Dota 2, round out the Top 5. Unsurprisingly, the rest of the Top 10 features Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Robin "ropz" Kool, three Team Vitality CS2 players coming off the best year in the game’s history, highlighted by two Major titles won in 2025.
Team Falcons is the most watched team
Despite this major success and a Top 3 finish at the Esports World Cup, the French organization does not appear among the five most viewed clubs on the site compared to the previous year, while Team Falcons, winners of both the
EWC and The International, the
Dota 2 World Championship, claim first place. On the podium, Team Liquid takes second place ahead of Fnatic, while FaZe Clan and Karmine Corp share fourth and fifth positions.
The presence of the American-Dutch club in second place is explained not only by its runner-up finish at the Esports World Cup 2025, but also by consistent Top 10 appearances among the most viewed clubs across several major titles, including VALORANT, Dota 2, and Mobile Legends. For Fnatic, the club’s long-standing history plays a major role, in addition to a Top 2 position on the VALORANT wiki, the game in which they performed best in 2025, reaching two international finals at Masters Toronto and Champions Paris.
T1 and Faker, what a surprise
For
League of Legends,
Liquipedia unsurprisingly indicates that T1 is the most viewed page on its wiki, ahead of Gen.G Esports and Anyone Legends. Competition from
Leaguepedia in this space may help explain the absence of these teams or their players in the previously mentioned categories. Los Ratones, the club founded by streamer Marc Robert "
Caedrel" Lamont, takes fourth place, ahead of CTBC Flying Oyster, two teams that benefited from exceptional results in 2025 to break into the Top 5. The former won two EMEA Masters titles and fielded an all-star Tier 2 roster, while CFO dominated the Pacific league and delivered
several upsets at international LAN events. Hanwha Life, KT Rolster, the World Championship runner-up, G2 Esports, Karmine Corp and Bilibili Gaming complete the Top 10.
Unsurprisingly as well, South Korean players dominate individual page views, with Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok taking first place thanks to his six World Championship titles, ahead of his current top laner Choi "Doran" Hyeon-jun and his former top laner Choi "Zeus" Woo-je. Faker’s main rival, Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon, sits just off the podium, narrowly ahead of his bot lane teammate Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk. The highest-ranked player not competing in the LCK is Zhao "Shadow" Zhiqiang, jungler for FunPlus Phoenix and Bilibili Gaming, in seventh place.
Paper Rex on top
Arriving with great fanfare and exiting the VCT EMEA quietly following
allegations of sexual assault, Ava "
florescent" Eugene is the most viewed
VALORANT Wiki player of 2025, just ahead of Paper Rex star Jason "
f0rsakeN" Susanto and Brazilian standout Erick "
aspas" Santos, who complete the podium. Paper Rex’s strong international year and his surprise transfer to Global Esports likely helped Filipino player Patrick "
PatMen" Mendoza finish just outside the Top 3, narrowly ahead of Demon1. Absent from competition for much of the year, Maximilian "
Demon1" Mazanov saw his surprise return at Champions Paris alongside Dragon Ranger Gaming propel him into the list of the most viewed players of the year on Liquipedia. Despite being retired, Tyson "
TenZ" Ngo maintains strong interest, dropping only from second place in this ranking to seventh.
On the
team side, Paper Rex claims first place thanks to its first international
VALORANT title at Masters Toronto, ahead of Fnatic and Sentinels, which relinquishes its 2024 top spot in the process. Surprise world champions on French soil, NRG finish just off the podium, ahead of G2 Esports, which dominated VCT Americas in 2025. New entrants in this Top 10 include Team Vitality and its super team, which started last year strongly before gradually falling off, as well as Rex Regum Qeon, buoyed by its unexpected title at VCT Pacific Stage 1. EDward Gaming, world champions in 2024, is the highest-ranked Chinese organization at tenth place and the only Chinese team in the Top 20.
