From low bracket to victory
In the VALORANT Challengers 2025 EMEA Stage 3 grand final, Turkey’s ULF Esports claimed the title on Tuesday by defeating Italy’s DNSTY in a best-of-five series. ULF won the match 3–1. DNSTY took the first map, Lotus, 13–10, before ULF rallied to capture the next three maps: Haven, 13–10; Abyss, 13–9; and Ascent, 14–12. This hard-fought victory crowned ULF Esports as Stage 3 champions.
The final map, Ascent, showcased a comeback from ULF. DNSTY had jumped out to a 12–8 lead, but ULF surged back by winning six rounds in a row to steal the map 14–12. ULF’s initiator player, Enes “Favian” Yiğiter, was instrumental in that turnaround, topping the server with 25 kills on KAY/O in the deciding map. His outstanding performance, coupled with ULF's impressive teamwork, prevented DNSTY from forcing a fifth map.
Qualified for Ascension
By winning Stage 3, ULF Esports secured the final place in the 2025 VCT EMEA Ascension tournament. The promotion event will see two teams earn a spot in the 2026 VCT EMEA international league. Meanwhile, DNSTY’s runner-up finish earned them nine circuit points, also enough to qualify for Ascension via the season rankings. Consequently, both grand finalists will advance to the Ascension tournament, highlighting the high stakes and significance of the Stage 3 outcome.
