Shopify Rebellion Gold return to their playground — the VALORANT Game Changers Championship. The reigning world champions are heading back to where they belong as they have officially qualified for the Championship 2025, following an impressive back-to-back title run in the North American Game Changers circuit this Sunday, October 12.

The North American organization secured their second title of the year after sweeping YFP X 3-0 in the grand final of the VCT Game Changers NA Stage 2. This marks an incredible fifth consecutive stage victory for Melanie “meL” Capone and her teammates, extending their reign over North America’s Game Changers scene.

Queens Are Back

Having already won the last two world championships, Shopify Rebellion Gold are now setting their sights on a historic three-peat, and they had a good preparation for it.

The North American powerhouse claimed both stages of the 2025 Game Changers circuit, conceding just three maps across the entire Stage 1. During Stage 2, SRG went undefeated in the group stage and dropped only two maps throughout playoffs. In total, Shopify have lost just five maps all year — a staggering statistic that underscores how prepared they are for the upcoming worlds in Seoul.

But their 2025 run isn’t limited to Game Changers. Earlier this year, Shopify Rebellion Gold made history by becoming the first all-female roster ever to compete in — and win a match within — a Challengers league. This additional competition could help them as they did play a few more matches this year.

Objective: Three-Peat

For Shopify, the Seoul Championship represents more than just another title defense — it’s an opportunity to etch their name even deeper into VALORANT history. Already the first team ever to win back-to-back world titles, SRG now have the chance to complete an unprecedented three-peat, claiming three consecutive championships: São Paulo 2023, Berlin 2024, and potentially Seoul 2025.

A victory in Korea would not only solidify Shopify’s dynasty but also crown their newest addition, Karnthida “dodonut” Chaisrakeo, with her first-ever world title — completing a roster that has already defined an era of dominance in the VALORANT Game Changers scene.
