EDward Gaming, T1, Team Heretics and Leviatán dominate the rankings in their respective regions
On Saturday, Riot Games revealed the best-selling team capsules of 2025 for each of the four international leagues of the VALORANT Champions Tour. These capsules, available since early February, offer exclusive goods (a Classic skin, a player card, a spray, and a gun buddy) in team colors, allowing fans to support their favorite organization directly. In 2025, 48 capsules were available, compared to 44 in 2024, reflecting the expansion of the competitive circuit.
Few surprises
Unsurprisingly for China, the actual World Champions EDward Gaming once again sold the most capsules, just like last year. Behind them, Bilibili Gaming held onto second place, and Trace Esports remained in the top 5 compared to 2024. In the Pacific region, T1 topped the sales charts, overtaking Paper Rex, who had finished first the previous season. The club’s massive fanbase across the world and their victory at Masters Bangkok likely played a major role in capsule sales.

In EMEA, Team Heretics led the way, followed by Karmine Corp and Gentle Mates, forming a top three largely dominated by the French community. Fnatic slipped in the rankings, likely due to their competitive struggles early in the season, though they still finished fourth. In the Americas, Leviatán claimed the top spot, showcasing the growing strength of the South American fanbase and the impact of an aggressive transfer window that attracted big stars. Behind them, G2 Esports and Sentinels — the North America’s flagship club — remained on the podium compared to 2024, although Sentinels dropped from first to third place.

The capsule program continues to stand as the economic backbone of the VCT. In 2024, Riot announced it had redistributed over $44 million to teams through digital content sales. Including stipends and cash prizes, the circuit shared a total of $78.4 million with the 44 participating teams. With 48 teams competing in 2025, that figure could rise even further this year.
