This Friday, July 25, 2025, during the second week of Stage 2 of the
VCT EMEA,
Furkan âMrFaliNâ YeÄen matched a rather unfortunate record. During the first match of the day between
Team Vitality and
FUT Esports, he failed to register a single kill on Haven,
finishing with 0 eliminations over 15 rounds while playing Sova. A statistic that, unfortunately, heâs not the only one to have reached, whether in Europe or elsewhere in the global
VALORANT Champions Tour.
As the dayâs opening series began on Haven, Team Vitality steamrolled the Turkish team, dealing a crushing 13-2 defeat, giving up just two rounds on defense. Powered by an impressive Blendi âKovaQâ Kovaci on Iso, the French squad made short work of FUT, not even giving MrFaliN a chance to win a single duel on the map. He ended Haven with 14 deaths and three assists, for a dismal ACS (Average Combat Score) of just 27.
He bounced back on Lotus, finishing at the top of his team in terms of KDA, with twelve kills, thirteen deaths, and eleven assists. A strong comeback â but it still wasnât enough to help FUT tie the series, as Team Vitality only gave up five rounds on the second map. The Hive claimed a clean and swift 2-0 victory against Turkish players who simply couldnât find any answers. Both organizations now sit at 1-1 in Group Alpha of Stage 2.
A not-so-rare record
Of course, MrFaliN isnât the only one to have hit this painful stat. In the VCT EMEA, the last player to go 0-kill on a map was Martin âMAGNUMâ Penkov, the Karmine Corp captain in 2024. During the Kickoff match, KC was soundly defeated by Team Heretics, losing 13-4 on Split and then 13-4 on Lotus. It was on the latter map that the Czech Sentinel failed to record a single elimination over 17 rounds. Ironically, the Blue Wall didnât lose another match that tournament and ended up winning the grand final, against those same Heretics.
More recently, and outside Europe, the last player to sign off this unfortunate stat line was found in China. Chen âTvirusLukeâ Cheng-ching couldnât get on the scoreboard either, in circumstances similar to MrFaliNâs.
Facing Tyloo, Titan Esports Club was overwhelmed on Haven, losing 13-2. The Taiwanese player ended the map with 15 deaths and three assists. The series then moved to Lotus, but Titan also lost that one, dropping a crucial series in their Stage 2 playoff hunt. Titan is currently 0-3 in Group Alpha of the VCT CN.
