Shopify Rebellion Gold are looking to qualify and to secure a historic back-to-back-to-back
The 2025 World Championship for the women’s and marginalized genders VALORANT scene — the Game Changers Championship — will take place in Seoul from November 20 to 30. In Korea, the ten best-performing teams of the year across all Game Changers leagues will battle for the ultimate title. Six major regions will be represented at the event: VCT GC EMEA, VCT GC North America, VCT GC Pacific, VCT GC Latin America, VCT GC Brazil, and VCT GC China.
However, since each league follows a different competitive format, here’s a detailed breakdown of how teams from each region will qualify for the Championship:
- EMEA – 3 teams: Stage 3 winner and the two teams with the highest number of points
- North America – Minimum 1 team: Stage 2 winner
- Pacific – 2 teams: 1st and 2nd place from the playoffs
- Latin America – Minimum 1 team: Regional Finals winner
- Brazil – Minimum 1 team: Stage 2 winner
- China – 1 team: Stage 2 winner
- +1 additional team from Brazil, LATAM, or NA: Winner of the Last Chance Qualifier among the #2 seeds from those three regions
*Points are awarded based on placement in each stage of competition.
The last two editions of the Championship have been dominated by one team, Shopify Rebellion Gold. The American team secured back-to-back victories in 2023 and 2024, becoming the first ever team to achieve this feat in VALORANT history. SRG are currently in the Upper Finals of the VCT GC North America Stage 2 with clear goals in mind: secure another domestic title and claim a historic three-peat on the global stage.
Qualified Teams for VALORANT Game Changers Championship Seoul 2025
- Xipto GC (VCT GC Pacific #1)
The VCT GC Pacific 2024 winners are back to the Championship. After a 2-0 victory over Ninetails, Xipto headed to the VCT Pacific Grand Finals which grant them a spot at worlds. They did win the rematch against Ninetails in the finals to secure their spot as seed #1 right after. Last year, they ended fourth at the Championship, let's see if they can do better this time.
- Karmine Corp GC (VCT GC EMEA #2)
For the first time in their history the Blue Wall qualified for the Game Changers Championship. KC will represent EMEA in Seoul following a 2-0 victory over GIANTX. Karmine are on a really dominant year, having already won Stage 1 and Stage 2. They could complete a historic three-peat by winning Stage 3 to get into the best possible shape ahead of the worlds in Korea.
- Team Liquid Brazil (VCT GC Brazil)
The Game Changers roster of Team Liquid are back to the Championship after missing out on the 2024 edition. After having fought the whole year with Made In Brazil GC (MIBR), they eventually secured their spot by winning the Game Changers Brazil Final Stage. This Grand Finals victory marked the fourth finals between the two Brazilian organizations this year with three victories for TL (Kickoff, Stage 1 and Final Stage).
- Ninetails (VCT GC Pacific #2)
After losing to Xipto GC in the upper bracket final and ending their 21-game winning streak, Ninetails missed their first chance to qualify for the Seoul Championship. However, the foxes bounced back in the lower bracket after defeating Falcons Vega 3-2, securing a spot in the finals and a rematch against Xipto. They ultimately lost that match, but by reaching the VCT GC Pacific finals, Ninetails earned their ticket to the world championship.
- KRÜ Blaze (VCT GC Latin America)
That's a fourth qualification in a row at Championship for KRÜ Blaze. After a pretty good year as they won Stage 1, ended up 4th in Stage 2 and won the main stage of the VCT Latin America South. The latter one secured them a match qualification for the Championship against the winner of Latin America North, Akave Esports Black. KRÜ won their tickets to Seoul by securing a clean 3-0 victory over the Mexican organization.
- Shopify Rebellion Gold (VCT GC North America)
The queens are back. After securing back-to-back titles in the VCT GC North America by winning both Stages, Shopify Rebellion Gold make their way back to their favorite playground: the world stage. SRG already made history by winning the last two GC Championship and will surely look to improve this record by making it a three-peat in Seoul.
- GIANTX GC (VCT EMEA #3)
GIANTX lock their second Championship in a row. After playing in the first two finals of the year in VCT EMEA, which ended in two 2-3 defeats against Karmine Corp, GX earned the points needed to qualify for the world championships during Stage 3. Indeed, having qualified for the playoffs, the GX GC players won 2-0 against AlQadsiah Corals. This victory secured them the minimum number of points needed to earn a ticket to Seoul.
- Nova Esports GC (VCT GC China)
Nova Esports secure their first ever qualification to Game Changers Championship. The Chinese organization had an insane run in Stage 2, the team went undefeated from the Group Phase to the Grand Finals where it secured a 3-2 victory to earn a ticket for Seoul.
- G2 Gozen (VCT GC EMEA #1)
Once again, G2 Gozen are heading to the Game Changers Championship — a stage that has almost become their second home. The team has qualified for every edition of the world championship since its inception, having lifted the inaugural trophy back in 2022. Since then, the samurais have secured back-to-back third-place finishes. Fresh off a dominant 3–0 victory over Twisted Minds Orchids in the VCT Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 Grand Final, G2 arrive in South Korea in top form, having prepared in the best possible way.
- MIBR GC (Americas LCQ)
After narrowly missing out on direct qualification with a loss to Team Liquid GC, Made in Brazil GC (MIBR) punched their ticket to the Game Changers Championship the hard way — through the Last Chance Qualifier, where they defeated Wadadaa 3–1. This marks MIBR’s second consecutive appearance on the world stage, following an impressive runner-up finish at last year’s Championship.
