Karmine Corp GC have already achieved two impressive winning streaks this year, with 10 and 9 consecutive victories
After months of dominance over the VALORANT Game Changers EMEA circuit, Karmine Corp’s Game Changers roster has fallen. On Wednesday, October 8, the Blue Wall suffered a surprising 0–2 defeat at the hands of Twisted Minds Orchids, losing 6–13 on Sunset and 2–13 on Haven.
An unexpected defeat for Şura “Jiex” Yıldırım and her teammates, who had been undefeated since the start of the split. This result also ends Karmine Corp’s impressive nine-series winning streak.
A familiar pattern emerging?
While Karmine Corp’s dominance in Game Changers EMEA is unquestionable — having already won both Stage 1 and Stage 2 earlier this year — this loss feels reminiscent of what happened during the team’s second split. As a reminder, the team had already gone on a similar winning streak across parts of the previous two Stages. Karmine remained unbeaten from February 25 to June 1, winning ten matches in a row in VCT GC EMEA.

However, following the end of their winning streak with a loss against G2 Gozen, KC went on to drop the next three matches as well, resulting in a four-game losing streak. But Karmine’s fans shouldn’t be too concerned. After that same rough patch earlier in the year, KC GC rebounded to put together the nine-match winning streak that has just concluded — a run during which they claimed Stage 2 victory by defeating GIANTX 3–2 in the grand final.
So while the Blue Wall may have cracked, it’s far from crumbling. With their sights set on a historic three-peat and a spot at the 2025 Game Changers Championship in Seoul this November.
