VALORANT - GC Championship: G2 Gozen and Shopify Rebellion Gold are making a statement in their first game at the GCC

Day three of the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 in Seoul went down quite as expected up top of the bracket. G2 Gozen, reigning EMEA champions, efficiently ended Nova Esports GC's run, and Shopify Rebellion Gold once again underlined their status as a North American benchmark with a controlled win over MIBR GC. G2 now prepare to face Team Liquid Brazil in the upper-bracket semis, while Shopify advance towards a highly-anticipated clash against Karmine Corp GC.

Facing Nova Esports GC, who had impressed in their opener against Ninetails, G2 Gozen allowed very little uncertainty to creep into the series. On Corrode, the European side closed out a 13–7 win before finishing the job 13–8 on Split, securing a clean 2–0 sweep. Esllene "Akita" Xu produced a standout series with 271 ACS and 37 kills, while Aleyna "Vania" Keskin posted G2’s highest rating at 1.61 on Corrode with Brimstone, illustrating how consistently the team managed to control both halves on each map.

On the Nova side, Kelly "shirazi" Jaudiani delivered a high-volume performance with 241 ACS and 36 frags, but that individual output was not enough to disrupt G2’s overall momentum. With this victory, the EMEA champions advance to the upper-bracket semi-finals, where they will meet Team Liquid Brazil on 26 November.

The second quarterfinal of the day saw Shopify Rebellion Gold takes on MIBR GC in an eagerly-anticipated rematch of the 2024 world final. The balance again tipped in favour of the North American roster, who edged out a massive stomp 13–1 victory on Pearl, despite it being MIBR’s map pick, before sealing the series 13–10 on Corrode for another 2–0 in Shopify’s road.

Nicole "Noia" Tierce comes out as the difference maker, with 259 ACS, 35 kills, backed up by Melanie "meL" Capone and Sarah "sarahcat" Simpson, while on the Brazilian side Giulia "lissa" Lissa managed to hold a neutral rating, but MIBR couldn’t find consistency to turn their strong economic periods into rounds on the board. Shopify Rebellion Gold lock in a spot in the upper-bracket final four and will be matched up against Karmine Corp GC in the semi-finals on 26 November, setting up a matchup between the two regional champions.
