100 Thieves is fielding its first-ever Game Changers team, with Lidyuh transitioning from creator to IGL
After years in the main VALORANT circuit, 100 Thieves has officially entered Game Changers ecosystem by unveiling its inaugural all-women team. This announcement is a significant milestone for the North American organisation, as it joins a growing list of Tier 1 teams that are expanding into Game Changers to support underrepresented talent in competitive first-person shooter games.
At the centre of this newly formed line-up is Lydia “Lidyuh” Wilson, a long-standing content creator under the 100 Thieves banner who now returns to professional play as team captain and in-game leader (IGL). Renowned for her presence in both the competitive and streaming scenes, Lidyuh brings valuable leadership experience and an in-depth understanding of the VALORANT ecosystem. Her transition from creator to competitor underscores 100 Thieves commitment to cultivating long-term careers for its talent, both on and off the server.
"Being part of 100 Thieves as a creator for the past year and a half has been nothing short of amazing” Lidyuh said in the official announcement. “The org has been so supportive of every decision I’ve made, especially returning to competition. We’re all so excited to represent 100T and show what we’re capable of."
From Frog Womp to 100 Thieves
Joining her on the roster are four talented players: Jasmine “Jazzyk1ns” Manankil, Presley Anderson, Emily “melyafps” Khan, and Jina “Marceline” Kim, who all bring a mix of mechanical skill, experience of Tier 2 events, and strong team synergy. Although this is 100 Thieves' first appearance in Game Changers, the team seems ready to make an immediate impact when they make their debut in Series 3 later this autumn.
This roster announcement forms part of a broader initiative by 100 Thieves to diversify its competitive presence and create new opportunities within esports for marginalised genders. This move follows a growing trend among top-tier organisations, such as G2, Shopify Rebellion, and Cloud9, who have invested in Game Changers to grow the women’s VALORANT scene sustainably.
“Joining VALORANT Game Changers is a meaningful step for me and for 100 Thieves,” said Julie Van, COO of the organisation. “Diversifying gaming has always been a personal goal, and we’re excited to grow our presence in a scene we love and believe in. We’re investing in talent and providing real pathways for creators to grow into competitors.”
