Veto is ready
At the VALORANT Champions 2025 Grand Final in Paris, Riot Games officially revealed Veto, the 28th agent in the game and the first one from Senegal. The new Sentinel agent is expected to launch with Patch 11.08 on October 7th.
According to the information shown in the trailer, Veto appears to have the ability to cancel enemy abilities or become immune to certain spells, including ultimates. In the footage, he can be seen blocking Gekko’s flashes, resisting Yoru’s blind, and surviving Brimstone’s Orbital Strike.
All Veto abilities — New VALORANT agent
- Crosscut (C): FIRE to place on the ground. While in range and looking at the vortex, REACTIVATE to teleport. During the BUY PHASE, the vortex can be reclaimed to be REDPLOYED.
- Chokehold (Q): FIRE to throw. Deploys on ground impact, trapping enemies who step into it. Enemies are Deafened and Decayed. Enemies ca destroy the trap before activation.
- Interceptor (E): FIRE to place at projected location. RE-USE to activate. Once activate, it will destroy any utility that would BOUNCE off a player and/or be destroyed naturally by gunfire. Enemies can destroy the Interceptor.
- Evolution (X - Ultimate): Instantly enters a fully mutated form, gaining the ‘Combat Enhancement’ effect and regeneration ability, and becoming immune to all forms of negative effects.

Veto is the seventh Sentinel to join the VALORANT roster, following Cypher and Sage from the beta, Killjoy in Patch 1.05, Chamber in Patch 3.10, Deadlock in Patch 7.0, and Vyse, who became available in Patch 9.04.
