Locking in the project for 2026
After a 2025 VALORANT season marked by inconsistency and early exits from the international conversation, 100 Thieves are entering VCT Americas 2026 with a clearer, fully defined project. The organisation spent much of last year searching for a stable identity. They achieved a top 9th/12th place at Kick Off, a better result at Stage 1 with the 5th/6th place.
They repeated this result in Phase 2, but failed to qualify for Champions Paris despite changes to the team, notably the bench of Kelden “Boostio” Pupello and the arrival of Drew "Kess" Lee as Sentinel. Rather than launching another complete rebuild, 100 Thieves have opted for a controlled reset. They are keeping their key pillars and constructing a roster designed to provide them with a long-term foundation in the Americas League.
The 2026 roster will see Jordan "vora" Pulwer, Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban, Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk, Timothée "Timotino" Lavigne Dupont and Sean "bang" Bezerra represent the Red and Black. Asuna, and Cryocells remain the central spine of the project, providing explosive play-making, and bang continued in his hybrid Controller/Initiator role, as he had done with the Sentinels, while vora, and Timotino round out the lineup with a mix of entry presence, mechanical consistency and IGL experience.
Synergy on the server and continuity behind the scenes
Behind the players, 100 Thieves are also leaning on continuity within the coaching staff. Laurynas "Nbs" Kisielius continues as Head Coach, bringing his structured, preparation-heavy approach into a second full year with the organisation. He is supported by Carl Erik Victor William "d00mbr0s" Sandgren, who previously worked with Natus Vincere in VCT EMEA as Head Coach and with Fnatic during the 2025 VCT season.
His experience of working with international rosters and refining map pools provides an additional layer of tactical support. Together, they offer a consistent framework for the new five, focusing on system-building rather than constantly adapting to roster changes.
With their 2026 lineup locked in early and a stable coaching structure already in place, 100 Thieves approach the new VCT Americas season with a more coherent direction than they have had in some time. The organisation is effectively betting that the combination of an established Asuna-Cryocells core, the fresh energy of Timotino, Bang and vora’s leadership will allow them to move beyond sporadic flashes of form and establish themselves as a persistent factor in the race for international slots.
