"I like Flakked, [...] he is always tryharding"

Today at Sheep Esports we bring you an interview with one of the new rookies of the LEC, Artur "Zwyroo" Trojan. Zwyroo is a veteran of the Superliga. The Polish midlaner has won all possible competitions that are aspired in ERL, reaching to be crowned as champion of European Masters in 2022.The new midlaner of Team Heretics tells us more about his feelings after debuting in the LEC, his journey through Superliga, his relationship with Flakked and many other curiosities about him.

| Thanks for the interview Zwyroo.

Zwyroo: "Thank you for the invitation."

| I want to focus this interview a little more on sensations, since you are a very charismatic player and you show it every time you have an interview, I wanted to ask you what was your first reaction when you knew you were going to be promoted to Team Heretics’ LEC team?

Zwyroo: "My first thought when they offered me the possibility was that I really wanted to join. Nevertheless, there are many examples of people who join a bad team and after just one split, they get dropped and can’t get to LEC again."

"But I thought that if I got dropped again my team in Superliga is good and that I really enjoy playing with them and spending time with them, because we have the same goals and we are all tryhard mode."

| Now that you mention all these opportunities, you have won everything there was to win in ERL and until this year you have not been given the opportunity to debut in the LEC. What do you think the reason was for? Have you ever thought about throwing in the towel after not being promoted even after winning the EMEA?

Zwyroo: "No, never. I can set up the days I will need to reach my goals, but if I don’t make it, I don’t care. I will play till I make it, unless something changes in my life suddenly, like if I’m not obsessed with the game or I don’t enjoy it anymore."

"I do really enjoy the game and all the stuff about it, so I don’t care if I don’t make it. I will play till I do. That was a bit my mentality. If I didn't get it before, it was my fault or because I wasn't prepared."

| Why do you think in general that in Europe it is so difficult to give opportunities to new faces?

Zwyroo: "This is a question I don’t like to answer, not gonna lie, because if I’m honest I think there are a lot of friends that like to play with each other and play just because. They don’t care much about being the best, you know?"

"So, I think it's mainly about this, but also the midlane role in Europe was good so it was tough to make changes, even though I think there are some ERL mids that could be promoted and in 1 year could be better than some LEC midlaners, but I think LEC is more focused on getting short-term results."

| Before we go on to the LEC questions, one last thing I want to ask you is what are you going to miss most about Superliga?

Zwyroo: "I will miss the players for sure and Naru, my coach. I have been with Naru for 2 years or even more, after our first split that we failed in Superliga we still stayed together and then we won EUM and Superliga, and he is a really tryhard coach, you know? If I don’t see him drafting in the morning, I know something its going wrong."

"That kind of people is what the LEC is missing, people obsessed with the game who want to be better every day; and also, my teammates because they were giga tryhard every day. Also, the fans were insane and Superliga finals, because they were letting me walk in with my dino *laughs*."

| While preparing the interview, I remembered a comment of yours saying that you don't like to play with other Polish teammates, you have 2 of them in the team, could you tell us why? *laughs*

Zwyroo: "I mean... it’s true I don't like to play with polish people *laughs*, but there is a reason behind it. When I started to play in Ultraliga, polish people always preferred to play with their friends who were a bit worst instead of getting a better player and I really disliked that mentality."

"For me, if I'm on the same spot and the guy is not idiot or something like that, *laughs* I always get the better player, you know? I don’t care about playing with friends."

| Let’s get into the LEC. Debut in the LEC and a 2-1 week. Did you expect such a solid debut, or did you think it was going to take you a bit longer to adapt?

Zwyroo: "I don't think it was solid, I think it was average but that's my opinion. I was expecting more from me, so I would say it was average for me."

| Let’s move onto one of your teammates, something we talked about when you both played in Superliga is your relationship with Flakked. How does it feel to share team again with someone as extroverted as Víctor?

Zwyroo: "I like Flakked and the way he behaves, he is always tryharding. He still needs to work on his discipline, but he is really obsessed with the game, and I really enjoy playing and spending time with him."

| Do you think this is the year where you are going to turn Flakked into a gymbro? Because Flakked told us once you turned off his PC because he refused to go to the gym.

Zwyroo: "Look, that’s true, but *laughs*, that's not the full story. Flakked told me that he would go to the gym with me and when the time came, he said he had no power. So, I'm like, oh, you don't have power? Okey, so I turned off his PC to give him power."

| Moving on to the gameplay itself, is there anything that surprised you about the change from ERL to LEC, or did everything go as expected? Scrims, officials, midlaners’ level etc.?

Zwyroo: "Mmm, I expected that midlaners were good, so that for sure not. There is something that surprised me, which is the discipline around scrims. Like man, they are coming 15 mins late and stuff like that. There is even a rule about it that we could play 1 soloq and delay it a bit."

"Bro, in ERL we are f***ing ready, waiting, you know? If someone is late 10 minutes we ask, guys, should we blacklist them? If I’m coming to my job, then be ready. Afterwards, you can do whatever you want."

| One last question before we go to the part of the interview where we theorize a bit about who is out of the playoffs and so on. I wanted to ask you: What are Zwyroo's short term and long-term goals?

Zwyroo: "For me, I would say my short-term goal is for sure playoffs and make the team more disciplined. From our gameplay, you can see that we are not disciplined, and that’s a problem. I think that, as a team, you always need to play as 5. Of course, you can do solo plays, but the best teams always play together."

"The long-term goal, I would say…, be the best, I just want to be the f***ing best, go to Worlds and play against Korean midlaners, I played in ERL against the import ones, but those are not the same you know? I want the real ones, *laughs* and then we see, that's my long-term goal."

| Man, Azir disabled, is the LEC plotting to ruin your debut?

Zwyroo: "Yeah, I think so. I was thinking about it, and I think they are so scared about my Azir that they disabled it, you know? I will find out the guy who disabled Azir *laughs*."

| I guess the LEC doesn't want to see your Superliga drifts man.

Zwyroo: "I know what game you are talking about, the shuffle that I missed on botlane right? Okey, okey, okey… I will find you one day for saying this, Eros."

| *Laughs* Let's go to the last part of the interview which are the questions I usually ask all the guests. If you could give one piece of advice to the Zwyroo of 3 years ago, what would it be?

Zwyroo: "Read David faster, but it's a secret you know? So, I don’t know if one day you will understand it, *laughs* or maybe not Eros I don’t know. [I still don’t understand it ahaha]"

| Don’t think so man, to be honest, this smells weirder than the Polish pre-workout you gave to Flakked *laughs*. Let's get to the last question and the end of the interview: the 2 teams that will be out of playoffs for Arthur (Zwyroo) are…?

Zwyroo: "Not gonna lie, I don't care much. I could answer this question, but it will be a random answer, so I will make sure Heretics isn’t one of them *laughs*. I don’t care about the rest, I only care about us."

| Man, thank you very much for the interview, I really enjoyed it, I hope that someday we can see you in a final with the dino outfit *laughs*.

Zwyroo: "Hope so, thanks a lot to you for the interview."
