A two-day offseason LAN in Asan
The VALORANT Global Invitational 2025 will take place in Asan, South Korea, on 8–9 November. The event will feature four invited teams: DRX and Nongshim RedForce from the Pacific region, Wolves Esports from China, and Team Heretics from the EMEA region. Positioned within the VCT offseason ecosystem, the tournament is designed to deliver international matchups across two days of LAN play, with a compact schedule and straightforward invitational format.
The last “Global Invitational” took place in Busan in 2023. Cloud9 claimed the title ahead of DRX, with EDward Gaming finishing third. The prize pool stood at around 35 million KRW (21,000€). The concise structure, with groups and playoffs condensed into a two-day window, established the tournament's identity during the offseason and will serve as the blueprint for this edition.
A concise overview of four teams
DRX entered with recent top-tier form, including a third-place finish at Champions 2025, which highlights their strong end to the season. Team Heretics have a world final appearance in 2024 and an Esports World Cup 2025 title to their name, which naturally positions them as contenders in a short bracket.

Wolves Esports, a leading Chinese team in 2025, achieved a top-three finish at Masters Toronto, notably defeating Heretics in the Swiss stage, which suggests their ability to compete successfully across regions. Nongshim RedForce, formed from the 2024 Pacific Ascension winners, has consolidated its position in VCT Pacific this year and will set a significant benchmark against well-established international competitors.
