Taeyoon is returning to the LCK after a year spent in the LPL with Team WE
Kim "Taeyoon" Tae-yoon has joined Nongshim RedForce for the 2026 LCK season, marking a significant move for the AD Carry. Indeed, Taeyoon has most recently competed in the LPL with Team WE and will be returning to South Korea with hopes of revitalizing his career in the most prestigious league in the world.
He is part of the big shuffle of AD Carries in the LCK during this offseason, while Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong and Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan are already on the move, with more transfers expected according to our information.

Nongshim announced this November 17 the departure of their six academy players, but also of their LCK jungler, Kim "GIDEON" Min-seong. The arrival of Taeyoon was made possible as Jung "Jiwoo" Ji-woo was announced as DRX new AD Carry in the LCK.
Another ADC on the move
Taeyoon's 2025 season with Team WE in the LPL showed a mixed but promising performance. In a roster that struggled to make an impact against the 7-8 top teams, Taeyoon formed a strong duo on the bot lane with Zhao "Vampire" Zhe-Can and often had to take the game into his own hands to help his struggling solo lanes.
He is thus returning to the LCK, where he already played two years with DRX and Kwangdong Freecs, having often oscillated between academy teams. He joins a Nongshim RedForce squad that has proven itself as a real challenger in the LCK, capable of posing problems to the league's elites. They started strong in the LCK Cup but lost momentum throughout the year, ultimately collapsing against mid-tier teams like BNK FEARX and Dplus KIA.
As the 7th place team in the LCK, they played in the inaugural edition of the 2025 League of Legends Asia Invitational (ASI 2025) where they reached the last four, once again facing Dplus KIA led by Heo "ShowMaker" Su.
