Zwyroo will reunite with Jankos, as the two previously played together on Team Heretics in the LEC
Artur "Zwyroo" Trojan is set to join NORD Esports in the NLC, replacing Frederik "NoWay" Hinteregger in the midlane, sources tell Sheep Esports on Monday. In the final round of roster completion, Zwyroo was selected over the second choice, Midlaner Pengcheng "Peng" Shen.
Zwyroo had already subbed in for NORD during the 2025 Spring Seeding, where he played four best-of-ones in April. NORD are coming off back-to-back NLC splits in 2025 that ended in 3–0 defeats to Los Ratones in the finals, but also marked a historic milestone for the organization as they qualified for the EMEA Masters Main Stage for the first time.
Zwyroo's road to the top began in 2017 with local tournaments before a first foray into the TCL with Bursaspor Esports, a stint that yielded little success. The 26-year-old Polish midlaner then headed to Italy, guiding Mkers to a league final and an EMEA Masters Spring 2021 quarter-final exit against UCAM Esports. A summer move to FC Schalke 04 Evolution in the Prime League also came up short, leaving the Polish midlaner searching for the right fit.
NORD Esports are also making roster changes in the botlane for the summer split, which are expected to be announced soon.
A long chapter with Heretics
That breakthrough arrived in early 2022 with Team Heretics. After a rough spring, Zwyroo captured the LVP Summer title and lifted the EMEA Masters trophy in a 3-2 thriller over BDS Academy. The 2023 roster shuffle still produced a spring final and an EMEA Masters semi-final, but the summer ended in fifth place after departures of Víctor "Flakked" Lirola Tortosa to the LEC and Jakob "Jackspektra" Gullvag Kepple's return to Spain.
Promoted to Heretics’ LEC squad in early 2024 following Luka "Perkz" Perković's benching, Zwyroo reached playoffs in both splits without making a deep run. In 2025 he joined Kiedyś Miałem Fun for Rift Legends Winter, finishing third, and now embarks on a fresh challenge with NORD Esports.
With this move, Zwyroo is set to reunite with his former Heretics teammate Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski if he's confirmed to remain on NORD Esports next split.
