Shin and tomaszy have won the EMEA Kick-Off in March with Karmine Corp
According to Sheep Esports sources, Tomás "tomaszy" Machado and Ryad "Shin" Ensaad will not be part of Karmine Corp's main roster for the 2025 season of the VCT EMEA, VALORANT's regional league. Both players have had a mixed season with the Blue Wall this year. KC started the season in the best possible way, surprising everyone by winning the EMEA Kick-Off in March, after a streak of 58 victories in scrims. These initial results seemed to confirm the management's decision to opt for a young and international roster, after a totally unsuccessful 2023 season.
0 win in playoffs
But Karmine then fell back into line. After two contrasting regular-season phases in Stages 1 and 2, Kamel "Kameto" Kebir's club failed to win a single BO3 in the playoffs of both splits. KC were eliminated long before they had any chance of claiming the top spots, so they missed out on the year's two other international events: the Masters: Shanghai, and above all, the Champions, the Worlds of VALORANT.
Shin was also the only player to retain his place after the 2023 season. Winner of the VRL France with Sector One in 2022, the only Frenchman in the 2024 team had experienced a difficult integration at the highest European level, with KC finishing last in the 2023 VCT. The Portuguese player discovered the VCT in 2024 after a good year with SAW. Tomaszy went on to win both splits of the VCL Portugal and finished 4th in the VCL Ascension tournament. Shin was at the end of his contract with Karmine Corp. Tomaszy, on the other hand, had one year left on his contract, according to the VCT Global Contract Database.
