The 22 years old player is joining Karmine Corp's roster in VCT EMEA
Dmitrii "SUYGETSU" Iliushin is set to join Karmine Corp for the upcoming VCT EMEA season, sources told Sheep Esports. This move was decided after multiple tryouts with various players in September. SUYGETSU also received interest from Team Vitality, Fnatic, 100 Thieves, and KOI during the offseason. An agreement between Karmine Corp and NAVI for SUYGETSU was reached on Saturday, as the player was still under contract with NAVI for another year, according to the contract database.
SUYGETSU becomes the third player secured by Karmine Corp this offseason. The French organization first reached a verbal agreement with Hazem "avez" Khaled, as reported by Sheep Esports. The team also reportedly secured Argentinian star Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro later in the offseason.
Suygetsu has been an active figure in the VALORANT scene since 2020, achieving multiple titles on the Challenger circuit with ForZe. His breakout moment came in 2022 when he helped FunPlus Phoenix secure the title at the VALORANT Masters. In 2023, almost the entire roster from FPX got signed with Natus Vincere, but the team never managed to go compete at the very top level of the league in the past two years despite showing an extremely good level and memorable games at some points. During this year's second split the team struggled very hard. Despite his strong individual performances, Suygetsu decided to look for a new team to join in the VCT EMEA.
